Walk around the halls of North park and you will experience an art work in progress; murals and displays are transforming our utilitarian space into a brave new art world.
Nowhere more so than in our library where you will discover the diverse creativity of our art students from grade 11 and 12.
My focus for this exhibition is to make it as inclusive as possible, encouraging everyone who has taken part in an art course to show their work, whatever their skill level - all artists have their personal growth. You will see a wide range of subject matter, disciplines, and media here, which reflect the diversity that is highly valued in our department.
Of the many people I would like to thank, I would like to give a special mention to Mrs. Georgette Sanderson, Mr. Brian Quistberg, Mr. Nathan Beyerle, Mr. Alek Bromke, Mr. Emilio Melfi, Mrs. Sylvia Brown, the custodial and library staff, and all other teachers and administrators who have supported our students. Most of all, i thank the parents who are supportive of their children, our students, whose work enlivens our world.
Enjoy the show!
