*Playoff format from 1977 to 2000 was that all 4 teams made the playoffs.  Depending on each team’s regular season standings, a semi final game took place before the city championship*

1997* The 97 football season came to an end as a province wide teacher strike began just days before the playoffs could take place.   No city champion was awarded that year.

1998* The 98 football season never really got off the ground.  Teacher strikes prevented the league from ever starting up.  The first of three exhibition games did not take place until late November. No City Champion was awarded that year.

2000* The 2000 football season only consisted of 5 exhibition games because of a province wide teacher strike.  BCI and NPC were the only two Brantford High Schools to have football teams.  No City Champion was awarded this year.

2001* The senior league increased to 5 teams with the addition of ACS

*Playoff format from 2001 to 2009 was that the top 4 teams, out of 5, would compete in the playoffs.  Playing a semi final playoff game before the city championship*

2001* The 01 Champions only played 5 regular season games, their last game of the regular season was forfeited by their opponent.

2002* & 2003* The regular season consisted of 5 in conference (Brant County Teams) games, and 2 out of conference games (Guelph District Teams).  Both regular season losses in each year came from out of conference games.

2005* One of the regular season games was cancelled due to bad weather and unfortunately could not be rescheduled.

2010* The league agreed to only play each other in the regular season once, leaving 2 open dates for exhibition style type games. Only the regular season games counted for playoff seeding.  The top 3 teams were guaranteed a playoffs spot while the bottom 2 had to play one extra game against each other for the final spot.
