Wednesday at the Brant County Cross Country Championships Erica Pate destroyed the senior girls division by winning the race in dominate fashion running 19:55 for 5km. Jacqueline Jamula came in second with an impressive
run .
In the other races, Cara Humeniuk placed an outstanding 3rd in her first race in the midget girls division. Natalie York finished 5th in the same race. Ryan Jamula ran in the midget boys division finishing 4th in 19:34 which was a personal best time. Logan Money ran in the senior boys race and came up against the strongest competition of the day and placed 5th.
All other runners had great runs and showed excellent team spirit cheering on their teammates as well as fellow competitors.
Next week the cross country team will be competing at CWOSSA on Thursday in Hanover. Good Luck!
Bus leaves from the new BCI parking lot at 7:00am. All runners need to confirm that they are attending the meet. See you Monday at practice.
