Congratulations to the Junior Tennis Team!
For an amazing performance at B.C.S.S.A. on Monday. B.C.I. took 4 of the 5 titles and resoundingly won the all around title at the Junior level. We may have even set a record for most points and championships. What an awesome achievement!
Megan Melling won all 5 of her sets 6-0 to win the girl's singles title. Riley Campbell and Davis Campbell won all 5 of their sets to take the double's boy's title. Lyndon Rey and Ellen Mann won all 5 of their sets to win the mixed double's title. Zack Morrison won 4 out 5 of his sets played and won the singles boys title. Brittani Schroeder and Natalie York won 4 out 5 of their sets and placed a close second for the doubles girls division.
It was an amazing day with fantastic tennis played by all. Ms. Dean and I would like to thank everyone for their enthusiasm, dedication, and positive attitude. Thanks as well to Adam Bray for being our alternate, helping out at the tables, and cheering everyone on. This team was a fantabulous team to coach.
Senior Tennis

Congratulations to the senior tennis team for a fantastic performance at the B.C.S.S.A. tennis tournament on Thursday. Not to be outdone by the Juniors, they also took 4 out of 5 of the titles, and those teams will be moving on to CWOSSA next Thursday! They scored 46 out of a possible 50 points also securing the all around title at the senior level. What an awesome achievement by both tennis teams this year!!
Joseph Yelle won all 5 of his sets to win the singles boy's title. Jeff Melling and Alec Mann won all 5 of their sets to take the doubles boys title. Cora Wilson and John Archibald won all 5 of their sets to win the mixed doubles title. Emily Hazell and Peyton Schroeder won all 5 of their sets to take the doubles girls title. Adele Aslin played some great tennis in the singles girls category.
It was another terrific day with fantastic tennis played by all. Thanks to our alternates as well; Spencer Campbell, David Hancock, and Mackenzie White for coming out and supporting the team. It has been great working with both of these tennis teams this year. You've made the Mustangs proud!

The senior tennis team competed at the CWOSSA tournament at the Northfield Racquet Club in Waterloo on Thursday October 15th. Everyone played well, and had a great time! Some of our teams came against some tough competition even having to play "O" ranked players in their first set. They demonstrated good sportsmanship and played well. All of the teams were eliminated by their third set in this tournament of double elimination.
Congratulations on such a great season! I would just like to say that this was a fantastic group to work with and the season has been a lot of fun!
It's not often that one school takes 4 of the 5 titles in both the Junior and Senior divisions at BCSSA!!!! Congratulations on winning the first title of the year for the Mustangs!!!
