Classroom policies

Make up any missed hours at the work place.
Participate in all classroom and placement Component activities.
Dress appropriately for the work place – be in uniform when in school.
Each student is responsible for transportation costs.
Not expected to be paid.
Not to be placed in a workplace with relatives or with their peers.
Complete a Work Education Agreement Form (signed by all parties) prior to the start of work.
Observe all health and safety regulations.
Allow for disclosure of personal information as necessary for placement.
Be honest in reporting hours.
Understand that they could be fired from the placement and/or removed from the program if program requirements cannot be met. This could result in loss of credits.
Theft or vandalism is grounds for immediate removal and expulsion from the program.
The Coop placement must take priority over part time employment or co-curricular activities.
