The Canadian Parents for French – Brantford Chapter will be offering another 8 week session of our Rendezvous for Learning Reading Program beginning in February 2008. This is available to French Immersion students in grades 1-3 who wish to work with a French Immersion BCI student volunteer on their French reading skills. This will be offered on Sunday afternoons at the downtown Brantford Public Library. You must register in advance for this reading program and spaces are limited. Email cpf-brantford@sympatico.ca to register your child today or for more information.

Thank you to all the Parents who signed up at the meeting held June 14, 2007 at B.C.I. Canadian Parents for French (CPF) is the national network of volunteers which values French as an integral part of Canada. CPF is dedicated to the promotion and creation of French second language learning opportunities for young Canadians. CPF—Brantford has exciting plans for French Second Language (FSL) extracurricular activities such as a French games night, a French Drama Club, a French Choir, and the Rendezvous for Learning reading program.Become a CPF Member! Your membership helps to fund and promote FSL events and programs. In fact, 65% of your membership fee is returned CPF Ontario to CPF Brantford to support our local programs and activities! CPF is a non-profit charitable organization that can benefit your family and our community. Through CPF your children can apply for scholarships, contests, and exchange programs. You can access learning resources through www.cpf.ca or www.cpfont.ca. Our local chapter is eligible for grant funding for library resources, book fairs, FSL advertising.
