CREDIT PROGRAMS
(Age 16 - 20)

G.E.L.A. provides an alternative learning environment that allows students to experience success and improve self-concept which will facilitate re-entry to education or the workplace.
The Night School Program for credit provides students with the opportunity to earn one or more credits toward their high school diploma.
The Summer School Program provides secondary students with the opportunities to earn a full credit, repeat a failed course, improve their mark in a passed course, or transfer from an Applied course to an Academic course.  This program also provides elementary students in grades 7 & 8 with the opportunity to improve their Literacy and Numeracy skills.
The ILC Program uses the Ministry I.L.C. course materials. There are no classes to attend. You work through the lessons independently at home. Course materials available in Brantford and Simce.

CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS 

Adult Day School Credit Pkgs.

G.E.L.A. is offering a Relaxed Learning Environment for those who wish to obtain their grade 12 diploma and to enhance their skills and realize their true potential.
You will learn core skills and concepts required to manage a small business and explore some of the challenges.
The program will focus on Customer Service skills, one of the most demanded skills in the workplace today.
The program will focus on Employment Based Skills that are in demand in the workplace today.

Other Programs  Offerred

Earn one credit each semester toward your diploma. Classes run 2 nights per week for 3 hours per night.
Earn one credit toward your diploma in Brantford and Haldimand/Norfolk.
The ILC Program uses the Ministry I.L.C. course materials. There are no classes to attend. You work through the lessons independently at home. Course materials available in Brantford and Simcoe.
PLAR is the formal evaluation and credit-granting process through which mature students may obtain credits for prior learning - the knowledge and skills that adults have acquired, in both formal and informal ways, outside the secondary school.
An assortment of assessments available. Free workshops available. Employment, education & training information.
Prepare resumes and cover letters for free!  Assistance available to help with your job search.
Free full time and part time classes in Brantford. Summer camp available for elementary students in July.
