Our Reflections
|
I learned while doing this project was how to make websites (for example this one). To make this website we had to learn how to use Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, and Macromedia Flash. These programs played a giant role in the making of this site. I also learned while making this site that we learned a lot of information on fluid's under pressure, Pascal's Law, and most importantly hydraulics. I noticed that Pascal's Law is a force exerted on a liquid is distributed evenly to the entire inside surface of a container. If I could change anything about this project/website in any way Iwould spend more time on my research and making different colours for backgrounds, text, and just basically make the website bigger. -Colin I've done two GrassRoots projects in my elementary career, one of them being this, the other one being the school website one. During these projects I've learned HTML, flash animation, the usage of Claris and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, graphic design, XHTML, JavaScript, and using Macromedia FreeHand 10 and Fireworks MX. I've learned to multi-task and upload websites onto the Internet. I've also learned recently how to insert media like Windows Media and Flash. I have also learned many things in recent times about hydraulics, and when I was starting the school website, our school's rich history. I hope that in the future, I can have an opportunity to assist younger students, and maybe even peers of mine, with further GrassRoots projects. ~Allie~ |
